The unique nestling design of the Soothing Motions Glider helps baby relax and rest, while a gentle gliding motion moves from side-to-side or front-to-back at two calming speeds. The deep cradle seat properly supports back, sides, and head, and a canopy provides a secure, enclosed feeling without preventing you from seeing your child. 16 total songs--eight that soothe and eight that entertain--set the mood and keep baby engaged, allowing tired moms and dads to rest their arms and backs while knowing baby is safe and comfy.
Helps Encourage Healthy Development
When baby is cranky and holding her doesn't seem to help, the Soothing Motions Glider gives you a simple option to help smooth things over. The removable toy bar features two plush toys that dangle and delight baby while helping to strengthen her gross motor skills. The varying melodies also stimulate her auditory sense, so she's developing key skills while playing or resting. Several options keep things cozy, fun, and convenient for both parents and baby: a plush insert ensures additional head support; carry handles make for easy portability; and a machine-washable seat makes clean-up a snap. Finally, the seat rotates 360 degrees so you can easily position it to keep baby facing mom or dad.
The Soothing Motions Glider measures 7.4 x 19 x 24.5 inches (WxHxD), weighs 15.8 pounds, and requires four "D" batteries (not included).

Absolutely great!!!!!!!!
I was given one when I was pregnant with my third baby. I loved it so much he slept in it more than his bassinet and crib. I was so pleased with it that I passed it on to a friend. When I started keeping my niece I ran out and bought another one and it's still as good as it was the first time. This is the only thing that can make my niece put her self to sleep and she sleeps staight thorugh the night in it. I recommend it to anyone who is pregnant or going to keep a baby!!!!!!!!!!

Daugher Sleeps Peacefully in this...much better than papasan swing.
My daughter loves her glider--she was never a big fan of her swing, but will nap for hours at a time in her glider. I'm sure some babies are probably the opposite--but for my money, I would have done best to have just gone with the glider. I just wish the glider were bigger because she is in the 95th percentile for height and her legs are already hanging over the end of the glider, which means I need to come up with a new hands-free napping solution for the afternoons.

Loved it!
This was the only thing that would soothe my baby. Swing - Nope, Bouncer - Nope, Backpack/Sling - Nope.
She loved this glider. I love how you could rotate it to move side to side or front to back. The only negative is that the glider is bigger than I thought it would be, and is not as 'portable' as other baby gear. But for me, it was worth the extra 'bulk' to get some peaceful time.

A baby must have!!
I purchased this item for my 3rd baby and I wish I would have had it for my first 2. I have a baby swing but have hardly used it since purchasing the glider. This one takes up less space, has a softer motion, and is easy to carry around from room to room. I like that the glider moves side to side AND front to back, and I like that the entire seat swings around...so that if you are sitting in one spot you can simply turn the seat to face you or which ever direction you'd like. The music is comparable to the music that plays on a swing or a bouncy seat (I actually think the sound the glider makes when it moves is more soothing) , and while the little bar with the toys is cute, I rarely use it. It is very easy to get off on and on. I also like that the actual seat is quite big, so even after your baby starts to get bigger they can still enjoy it without it tilting or bending. My son is 2 months now and still has PLENTY of room. You will not be disappointed with this glider!!

Too Loud
I put my two month old in This glider and he couldn't stand it!!! Was way too loud when it moved & really not for moving everywhere if you've been on your feet all day.
